Global Entry Trusted Traveler Kiosk Program in Charleston, SC

The Global Entry Program, initiated by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), provides an expedited exit process through customs when returning from outside the U.S. It is available to US citizens, permanent residents, and Dutch and Mexican nationals who are frequent travelers into the U.S., ages 14 and older, and who are determined to be of low risk.

Application into the program requires online submission through the Global Online Enrollment System (GOES) and a non-refundable $100 fee. After a rigorous background check and a commission of no crimes, an interview will be scheduled. Make sure you take your passport & green card (if applicable) and driver's license. Membership is valid for 5 years.

Then upon US arrival:

1. Don't fill out the paper declaration form.
2. Go to the kiosk in the customs area.
3. Insert passport
4. Provide electronic fingerprints,
5. Answer declaration questions and take the written receipt to the expedited exit officer.
