Premium Processing Service is an accelerated program designed to more quickly initially process the USCIS petition or application. It does not guarantee approval, nor can it be used for all types of petitions. Certain visas come and go from being acceptable categories. It may result in a denial or a request for evidence (RFE).

Normally, responses are received within 15 days of the date of entry by USCIS of the application into its system. This date of entry may be a few days after the date of mailing.
